North and South is MY favorite book EVER!
It is about the Hale family who moves from the English countryside of Helstone to the Industrial town of Milton. In Milton Mr. Hale teaches a cotton mill owner named John Thornton. Mr. John Thornton meets Mr. Hale's daughter Margaret and falls for her very quickly. The movie goes through the struggles of Mr. Thornton and Miss Margaret Hale as in the movie Pride and Prejudice. Mr. Thornton and Margaret continue to unintentionally offend each other because they do not understand either the etiquette of the North or of the South. There is suspense and irony which is fantastic. The actors are amazing.

I give a A+
I highly recommend this movie.
